I just unboxed and i'm wearing around the house. Fit like a glove. I will update the review in time as they get their true outdoor use. I use boots for everything from work, logging, working on car, going to town, off trail forest hiking and chilling.
I do think they appear a more reddish brown and shiny in person versus the website photos which to me look more plain brown and a matte leather look. As well as the tan coloured pull tabs are more yellowish orange in person. To me this is a bonus as i'm replacing my 10 year old reddish brown leather The North Face boots with these. The glue holding the outsole to the leather material is a bit sloppy and visible, unlike the photos of the pair included on the website. Nothing i'd for real complain about as they are about to get put their paces in a rugged outdoor life, but if I was in the store I would be opening up other boxes looking for a cleaner set.
They fit so well that I actually just forget they are even on, albeit I am sitting down writing this.
